If you encounter this situation, a common reason is either:


1. You do not have an active Business page. Check this article on how to create a business page. 

Check your page type by going to the About section:

  • If it shows your relationship and education, it’s a personal page.
  • If it shows business details, it’s a business page.


2. You have not granted BranchUp the necessary permissions in your Facebook settings. 

Manage your Facebook page permissions by following these steps:


  1. Login to your Facebook and open your personal page. 

  2. On your Personal FB page, copy and paste this URL https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools

  3. Click “view and details”  
  4. Make sure all the toggles are set to ON. 
  5. Once done, login back to BranchUp and re-connect.
